PCCP 45th Annual Chest Convention

The Philippine College of Chest Physicians warmly invites you to the 45th PCCP Annual Chest Convention. The theme is "GALING Philippines: Groundbreaking Advancements and Lung Innovations for the Next Generation."

The theme "GALING Philippines" draws inspiration from the rich and nuanced Filipino word "GALING", which—depending on pronunciation—may mean excellence, wellness, or origin. Through this theme, we celebrate national pride and professional excellence, while sharing a hopeful vision for the respiratory health and overall well-being of our nation.

This year's scientific program is thoughtfully designed to showcase the latest developments in pulmonary, critical care, and sleep medicine. It will feature six plenary lectures delivered by distinguished international experts from the United States, Europe, Australia and Asia, alongside twenty clinical symposia highlighting timely clinical updates, cutting-edge research, and forward-looking scientific discussions.

Key topics include, but are not limited to:

• Precision medicine in COPD and asthma

• Updates on pulmonary infections, including tuberculosis, pneumonia, HIV related and fungal lung diseases

• Critical care innovations in ARDS, dynamic fluid management, ECMO, noninvasive ventilation, and advanced oxygen delivery

• Advancements in Interventional pulmonology and lung cancer diagnostics

• State of the Art lecture on Pulmonary Hypertension
